What is SubSnacker?

SubSnacker is a tool that allows you to archive your favorite Substack newsletters for offline reading. It converts posts into clean HTML files and bundles them into a ZIP archive.

How do I download paid posts?

To download paid content, you must have an active subscription. You'll need to provide an authentication token by pasting a "Copy as cURL" command from your browser's developer tools.

Are my credentials safe?

Yes. We do not store or log your credentials (session cookies). They are processed in memory and sent directly to Substack only when you request a scan or download.

Why is it slow?

We purposefully slow down requests and add random delays to avoid triggering Substack's bot detection. This ensures your account remains safe while archiving large newsletters.
